Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nomad mobile application (the "App"), provided by S Koushan ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Nomad, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. The service

Nomad helps you track and visualize countries and trips you've visited, either by entering them manually or by importing candidate trips detected from your Gmail and device calendar for your review. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Accounts and access

Nomad does not require you to create a Nomad account. Some features (Gmail import) require you to sign in with your own Google account via Google Sign-In; you're responsible for keeping that account secure.

3. Nomad Pro subscription

• Nomad Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (offered monthly or annually) that unlocks the Gmail and calendar import feature.
• Payment is processed by Apple or Google, depending on your platform, and is charged to the payment method on file with your App Store or Google Play account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings - we cannot cancel it on your behalf.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies, not by us directly.
• If a free trial is offered, its exact terms will be shown to you before you subscribe.

4. Your data

The trips and travel data you add to Nomad are yours. As described in our Privacy Policy, this data is stored locally on your device - we don't host or control it, so we also can't recover it for you if it's lost (for example, if you uninstall the App or lose your device without a backup).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App - for example, by attempting to reverse-engineer it, interfere with its normal operation, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.

6. Third-party services

Nomad relies on third-party services, including Google (Sign-In, Gmail API, Calendar), RevenueCat (subscription management), and the Apple App Store / Google Play (distribution and billing). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or performance.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Nomad is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular, automatic trip detection is a best-effort heuristic and may miss trips or produce inaccurate suggestions - you're always shown a chance to review before anything is saved, but we don't guarantee completeness or accuracy of detected data.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including loss of data.

9. Termination

You may stop using Nomad at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
